Tai Chi - Beginners

Tai Chi, a "moving meditation," is a traditional Chinese martial art known for its graceful, flowing movements and profound health benefits. It emphasizes balance, flexibility, and mental focus. The method involves a sequence of slow, deliberate motions, each flowing seamlessly into the next, promoting relaxation and inner peace. A focus on breath control, posture, and the cultivation of internal energy, or "qi."

Tai Chi is not only a practice of physical exercise but also a mental discipline, teaching to harmonize their mind, body, and spirit for improved health and well-being.

TAI CHI

Tai Chi is a recreational fitness form of flowing movements designed to exercise and develop the body and mind in unison. The movements are performed in a slow dream-like pace, with deep concentration and diaphragmatic breathing to transport one into a state of tranquil relaxation.

Tai Chi utilizes the principle of non-physical exertion and internal organ exercise by way of corrective breathing, controlled stretching and gentle artistic movement to improve strength and balance.

Completion of at least one term in the Beginners class is recommended.

Wear comfortable clothing, shoes and bring a water bottle
