Governance
Camberwell Community Centre is a community-managed organisation governed by a volunteer Board of Management. The Board provides strategic leadership and governance oversight, working with the Executive Officer to ensure the Centre remains sustainable, well-managed, and responsive to community needs.
Board members focus on strategy, governance and accountability, rather than day-to-day operations, and contribute professional skills to support the long-term success of the Centre. They also work to deliver the core objectives of Boroondara’s Community Strategic Development Plan.
We welcome expressions of interest from community members interested in joining the Board, particularly those with experience in:
Legal – policy and governance
Human Resources – recruitment and workforce management
Information Technology – ideally with knowledge of the education sector
Serving on the Board is a rewarding way to give back and be part of a vibrant local community organisation while sharing your own particular expertise and professionalism.
