This is a long running favourite at CCC and is suitable for students with experience in the medium already.  This class is popular and preference is given to existing students first.

There is a waiting list for this class, as our current students reenrol, meaning that it remains fully booked until someone leaves.

Do you look and marvel at the ability of other watercolour artists? Have you previously tried watercolour painting and felt the traditional methods are just too difficult and a little beyond your abilities? Think again! Over 9 weeks this class will bring joy back to your art. With techniques, you have never tried or thought of, with methods that go beyond a simple paintbrush and an approach to colour that will bring a smile to everyone’s face!

Landscapes, portraiture, still life or flora and fauna, the choice is yours. All I ask is you come with an open mind and a desire to explore. And if you don’t have an instagram account yet, get one, you’ll be creating art you’ll definitely want to share!

A focused exploration on still life giving students the opportunity to explore their own interests and style. Experience and explore the velvety medium of soft pastels. Linda Finch is one of the most popular tutors at CCC and a highly experience Pastels artist.

anime drawing for young adults***new

This course gives young artists the chance to explore anime art and its global influence on pop culture.

Students will learn how to design characters, create dynamic poses and expressions, and develop unique backstories for their own characters.

Each class will cover various styles of anime and manga, from classic to modern, to help students find inspiration for their personal art style. Throughout the course, students will experiment with different techniques and materials, with guidance on choosing the medium that works best for them.
