SEEING DIFFERENTLY THROUGH Abstract
Through a series of guided exercises, you will develop core skills in composition, colour mixing, and visual interpretation. You will explore shape, repetition and mood using paint, observation and photographic imagery as starting points.
Each session includes artist references, demonstrations, and plenty of time to create your own work, with individual feedback and group discussion to support your learning.
This is a fun, hands-on class designed to build confidence and encourage experimentation. Whether you are developing your style or picking up a brush for the first time, you will gain tools and inspiration to continue exploring abstraction beyond the studio.

Watercolour with it hao pheh
Come experiment with pigment and the alchemy of water that is essential to this complex and beautiful medium.
Continue your journey and grow your watercolour painting confidence in this 8 week program. Award-winning artist, It Hao Pheh offers a a wealth of experience in painting and teaching spanning 30 years.
This class requires watercolour experience.

Contemporary Art Through Making
Contemporary Art Through Making is a fun and engaging short course that explores four Australian women artists, their techniques and concepts. Through this easy breezy investigation of collage, pop culture references, interiors and the material nature of painting, students will find the freedom to celebrate their own creative voices within their art marking.
Each week we will explore an artist and their processes and consider the concepts they explore in their art making. Students will respond to each theme in painting and/or collage and complete a canvas during the class. At the end of the course students will have four complete canvases showcasing their work.
