Salsa On2

Salsa On2 Open Level Shines is an energetic class where you’ll warm up, break down the music to feel the rhythm, and refine your basic steps. From there, we’ll add right turns and build a short sequence, before practicing with music to boost flow, timing and confidence.

Dress comfortably, like you’re going to the gym! Open to adults 18+, no partner or prior salsa experience needed.

School Holiday Tie Dye Workshop (AGES 6+)

Ready to get messy? This workshop will help you bring the rainbow to life! You’ll learn the basics of tie dye and create a vibrant tshirt to take home. Don’t miss out on a chance to have fun and explore both art and science!

Please either wear a smock or come in clothes you don’t mind getting messy!

Little Hands Clay Handbuilding (8-12 years)

In this two-hour workshop, we invite young artists aged 8-12 to experiment with the fundamentals of clay. They will learn different handbuilding techniques to craft their own sculptures, figures, or functional pieces, and then add their own personal touch with creative decorations. This workshop offers a chance to develop a deeper understanding of clay while having fun with a hands-on project.

All materials are provided. Come explore, create, and enjoy the world of clay!

This terms topic will be to make “Tambi’ the new baby giraffe at Melbourne zoo.

Teen Clay Wheelwork (12-17 Years)

This workshop is designed for older makers aged 12-17 to immerse themselves in all things ceramics. Students will begin by learning various clay techniques to create a form or vessel, starting with a demonstration of basic wheel throwing techniques.

Students will then be guided through a range of methods, including wheel throwing and hand-building techniques such as slab, coil, and pinch pots, along with texture and surface decoration.
