Make Daifuku Mochi
Daifuku mochi is a beloved traditional Japanese sweet—soft, chewy, and delightfully sweet. The name "Daifuku" literally means "great luck," and it’s said that eating Daifuku brings good fortune. This simple yet elegant treat is made from glutinous rice, and it’s naturally free from wheat, eggs, milk, and butter, making it a great dessert for everyone to enjoy.
In this 90-minute hands-on workshop, you’ll have the opportunity to learn how to make Daifuku from scratch. You’ll receive a printed recipe to take home, ensuring you’ll have the confidence to recreate this delicious dessert on your own.
At the end of the workshop, you’ll sit down and savor your homemade Daifuku with a soothing cup of hot green tea, enhancing the experience and bringing a taste of Japan into your day.

LITTLE HANDS CLAY (5-7YRS ONLY!)
This fun and creative one-hour workshop is perfect for youngsters beginning their clay journey! Kids aged 5-7 will learn the basics of hand-building and decorating, creating their very own clay masterpieces. It's a great opportunity for little hands to get messy, unleash their creativity, and enhance fine motor skills through hands-on activities.

LITTLE HANDS CLAY (8-12YRS ONLY)!
In this two-hour workshop, we invite young makers aged 8-12 to experiment with the fundamentals of clay. They will learn different hand-building techniques to craft their own sculptures, figures, or functional pieces, and then add their own personal touch with creative decorations. This workshop offers a chance to develop a deeper understanding of clay while having fun with a hands-on project.

LITTLE HANDS wheelwork (10yrs +)!
This workshop is designed for older makers aged 10 and up to immerse themselves into all things ceramics. Students will begin by learning various clay techniques to create a form or vessel, starting with a demonstration of basic wheel throwing techniques.
They will then be guided through a range of methods, including wheel throwing and hand-building techniques such as slab, coil, and pinch pots, along with texture and surface decoration.
