Early morning Qigong with Anna
Qigong combines integrated physical movement, mental cultivation and regulated breathing. This activity is designed to guide and induce the free flow of energy Qi throughout the body, maintaining the harmony of Yin and Yang, which promotes health and greater sense of well being. Qigong increases vitality, impacts positively to improve medical conditions and in this way will improve and prolong the quality of life. Suitable for all ages and levels of ability.

Tai Chi
Tai Chi is a recreational fitness form of flowing movements designed to exercise and develop the body and mind in unison. The movements are preformed in a slow dream-like pace, with deep concentration and diaphragmatic breathing to transport one into a state of tranquil relaxation. Tai Chi utilizes the principle of non-physical exertion and internal organ exercise by way of corrective breathing, controlled stretching and gentle artistic movement to improve strength and balance. Suitable for all ages.

Stretch and Core Strength
A balanced, functional, sustainable training program designed to turn back the clock. Tone & strengthen muscles, improve balance, increase flexibility and cardio fitness using light weights (supplied) and exercise mats (also supplied or you can bring your favorite mat). Work within your limits in this small class.

Classes are run by different tutors whose own practice and training leads to differences in style and class practice. All draw on various influences learned through their extensive training and experience. All classes include relaxation & meditation practices.
Walk & Talk Groups
We currently have a number of walking groups heading out on Tuesday and Thursday mornings.
Head off for a walk around the local area. Group excursions for longer walks are occasionally organised. Larger groups divide into two for those who wish to walk at a brisker pace and for those who require a more gentle amble. All groups meet for coffee and chat afterwards.
