Card Players
Do you love playing cards? We currently run a number of card playing groups including, Solo Learn to play solo and Bridge.  

New members are welcome.

We also would welcome enquiries from those who enjoy other card or board games so we can get people together to play the game of their choice.

New 500 card group
Fridays: 1pm to 3pm
Cost: $2 per session plus annual membership ($15)

Solo for independent players

A group for those who know how to play the game. This group currently plays each Tuesday and there is generally 4 to 5 tables.
Tuesdays: 12.30pm to 3.30pm
Cost: $5 per session plus annual membership ($15) 

Supervised solo - Improve your skills

This class is supervised for those who might like the attention of the tutor to help and guide them with those tricky hands such as No Trumps or Mazere. Also suitable for those who have attended our 'Learn to Play Solo class' and want to continue developing their game.
Wednesdays: 9.30am - 11.30am (ongoing)
Cost: $7 per session plus annual membership ($15)

Held when we have sufficient numbers on Wednesdays from 11.45 am - 1.45 pm.

This group caters for  those who know and love the card game of Bridge (Duplicate).
If you don't have a partner to play with please ring Caryl (or the CCC office) and we will try and match you up with someone.

Mahjong (western version)
This is a game that originated in China but is loved and played all around the world. Not played with traditional card symbols such as Hearts, Diamonds, Spades and Trumps but tiles that have symbols unique to this game. Learn the symbols and the language and enjoy the satisfaction of being able to shout 'Pong, Kong or Mahjong!
Thursdays: 1pm - 4pm - ongoing group
Cost: $5 per session plus annual membership ($15)

Camberwell Community Centre prides itself on providing programs and activities for the local Boroondara community. We offer Adult art, well being, langauge and general interest programs and a variety of adult activity groups. We also offer programs for school aged children. We are a meeting point for many local groups and organisations and offer a variety of rooms and a large hall for hire.
